It's so annoying.
This week has been an intense Georgia Tech experience. I had two homeworks due today, two due tomorrow, and when you consider that each one takes about 8 hours, that's a big time committment. Then Saturday was the football game from 2 to 7:30, exacerbated by the fact that I was required to be at the volleyball game that started at 7:30 too, so I was at band stuff from 1:30 to 10 pm, essentially.
Then today was the career fair, and that's it's own bundle of awkwardness and time spent.
Then, added to everything else, the band took a vote Friday to see if we wanted to perform halftime at the Falcons/Eagles game tonight in exchange for free tickets to see a later game. In the vote I raised my hand high for the "do not want to go"-s. Along with fourteen other people, greatly outnumbered by whatever 300-15 is people who were all enthusiastic.
But my luck was changing. I emailed the band director and asked if the people who voted no had to go, and he said no! I no longer was obligated to go play for a crowd who would boo us deafeningly and keep me out until midnight when I have an eight am class. Things were looking up!
Until the side-effects for the new anti-inflammatory I'm on for my tingling left hand kicked in, and now I have the worst tension headache in my life. Fun. The joy is I can't take anything because I'm already on superdrugs.
Urrrrrrgh.
