Our water is off again.

They did this two weeks ago too, giving us one day of warning, and then saying the water will be off from 9 to 4 for "repairs". Last time the water was off till 7 at least, and ran brown for over an hour after that. It's around 5:30 now and no sign of water. Hopefully they fix it this time and it isn't a wonderful biweekly occurrence.

I made a cake for Graham's birthday on Sunday, then we conned him down here to blow out the candles on Monday ("Come down here at 5:45" may not have been subtle, but it was effective). I made wacky cake, a chocolate oil-cake recipe I like. The last time I made it in Georgia was during the season of the ill-labeled self-rising flour when all my baked goods were turning out funny, so my roommates were much more impressed by the cake this time.
